-Musakhan, considered by many to be the national dish of Palestine, Musakhan is chicken roasted with onions, sumac, allspice, saffron, and fried pine nuts served over Taboon Bread (a yeasted bread traditionally prepared in clay ovens). In Palestine, this dish celebrates the olive oil harvest; olives being deeply rooted to Palestinian culture.
