Last night, I saw something amazing.

The first amazing thing:

I tried to go to a movie-- the grey weather and a little virus have been weighing me down, and I thought I’d escape into a dark theatre for a couple of hours. But when I went to buy my ticket, I was informed that my movie didn’t start until tomorrow. It felt like another in a long series of small indignities I had been suffering throughout the week, and I felt crestfallen. But just as I stepped outside, the clouds parted for the first time all day, and the sun flooded the Rosedale parking lot, shimmering off the hot asphalt puddles in that glorious way only a mall parking lot can sometimes be glorious (I’m an 80’s kid).
